ISGREENSC 2026

On 25–29 May 2026, the 2nd International Symposium on Green and Sustainable Chemistry (ISGREENSC 2026) was held in Cartagena, Spain. The symposium brought together researchers, industry professionals, and students working in the fields of green chemistry, sustainable processes, catalysis, biocatalysis, and circular economy, providing an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and the discussion of innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.
The PlatILPlus project was represented by PhD students Flavia Braga and Pedro Teixeira, who presented their latest research on the sustainable recovery of critical raw materials from secondary resources. Their participation contributed to disseminating the project's advances in resource valorisation and circular economy strategies.
The symposium provided an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, establish new collaborations, and engage with the international scientific community working towards greener and more sustainable chemical processes.
